About Ephie
Ephie is a aquarist from Texas. He got his start after catching small fish in a pond, and to his family's surprise, kept the poor creatures alive for a month. He quickly moved on to bettas, where became fascinated by the genetics governing colors and fin shapes. To his frustration, he found bettas too difficult to breed and raise, so he looked for an easier alternative; platys (he found them to be neither easier to breed nor raise). Since then, he has enjoyed keeping dozens of varieties of platys, swordtails, guppies and a few mollies.
